Boo’s Bug Stoppers is out to get your unwanted Wildlife

Many of our customers have asked us for some information on the different types of wildlife that we treat.  These range from Bats, Racoons, Squirrels, Groundhogs, skunks, possum, etc. .  There is no one size fits all treatment for these animals and the information below will link you to the area on our website that speaks to the specific treatment that we use.

BATS

Bats are beneficial in that they eat lots of insects and disease-carrying mosquitoes. Because of this, they are protected by the state of Pennsylvania. The most common bat that we have is the little brown bat. If you have bats nesting in an attic or wall of a structure our exterminators are not permitted to kill these bats. Rather we have to remove and exclude them from your house. Typically this needs to be done in the fall through early spring to avoid harming the young. Nesting bats in your attic can also be a cause for medical concern as a buildup of bat urine and feces in the attic over time will create conditions suitable for the growth of fungus that can cause lung disease. Bat exclusion and removal require an inspection in order to provide an accurate price quote.  Call today to set up your free inspection.

HOUSEHOLD PESTS

Some other common household pests that our exterminators encounter regularly are centipedes, millipedes, earwigs, and ground beetles. Although these four insects are not actually related in any way, we have grouped them together because they are all commonly found in the home, they all thrive in similar damp conditions, and they can all be treated in a similar manner.

WILDLIFE

For larger wildlife problems such as squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs, skunks, possums, etc., Boo’s Bug Stoppers can offer trapping services in which we can trap and remove whatever animal is causing you problems.
